Of course! If you are licensed to practice in your respective state, you can be employed full or part-time by EssilorLuxottica, or by one of our many independent practice owners. For entrepreneurial Doctors, you can also choose to run your own independent practice or franchise.

There are many opportunities to get involved with supporting your peers including opportunities to be a mentor, speaker or subject matter expert / Key Opinion Leader (KOL) connecting with optometry students or other affiliated Doctors. Another way is our Regional Mentor Doctor program where you can mentor and provide leadership to Doctors in the region where you practice. You can also be selected as a member of an Optometric Advisory Council which provides strategic guidance to their respective brands and is a key Doctor leader within the brand community for their peers.

We offer multiple ways to practice including employment (full-time and part-time), independent practice (sublease) and franchising. We even offer remote care positions where you can provide patients with comprehensive eye exams from the comfort of your home using our advanced tele-optometry technology. Hybrid roles are also available where you can practice in-office and from home based on your schedule.

We offer various sublease arrangements. In our standard sublease model, the subleasing Doctor is responsible for hiring and managing all Doctor staff. In our modified sublease model, the brand helps to hire and manage the staff.

No. However, we do foster a collaborative environment where Doctors provide clinical knowledge and patient care in partnership with EssilorLuxottica’s optical and retail expertise, to provide patients with the highest quality end-to-end experience.

You’ll operate the optometrist office as your practice while providing high-quality optometric care and services to your patients next to a state-of-the-art optical.

As a sublease holder, your earning potential is unlimited. You set and earn exam and other professional fees and own your patient book. Sublease holders benefit from the significant patient flow potential from being affiliated next to well-known national brands with a robust support system and tools including national and local marketing.
